Exactly what I had in mind for my 4Runner. In conjunction with the Sherpa rack and the Sherpa brackets it works best to completely remove the included mounting brackets

The swift awning deploys quickly, packs up quickly and seems sufficiently sturdy without being too heavy. Slight rattling noise when packed is evident with windows open but not with windows closed. Case is significantly more durable than the competitors.

True 180 and 270 awnings are almost impossible to fit on a 4Runner. This awning met the needs of coverage and quickset up, interfaced well with the roof rack. Very happy with the quality, shipping was quick and timely. I would highly recommend this to anybody needing a fast set up awning..

The Swift offers key features and a build quality that sets it far ahead of other vehicle awnings. Using the awning is very simple and convenient because of the self supporting arms. I find myself using it in situations where I wouldn't with a standard roll-out style awning, if nothing else because it's very easy to set up and break down with one person. Fitted up to my 4Runner, the Swift is a great match in both stored length and deployed coverage and really adds another dimension of usable space to the vehicle. The ability to easily deploy shelter at will is something that makes this investment almost a no brainer for someone spending a lot of time outdoors. A great product from a great company, I cannot more highly recommend this product.
