Hi, this is Paul with Equipped Expedition Outfitters, and today I'd like to show you something that we're very excited about. It's another edition from Eezi-Awn called the K9 Cube. The cube is a privacy enclosure designed with many of the same production components used on the Batwing 270 Swift awnings. It creates a privacy shelter without a roof and is a wonderful option.
It's 55 inches long, 6 inches deep, and 5 inches high, weighing about 25 pounds. We use the same UV-protected PVC material for the cover. YKK zippers are used, and we open this up with the same zipper concept. The cover is a couple of inches longer than the mounting extrusion on the back, so it can go over the back of the extrusion without much trouble.
Inside, there are a couple of clips that hold it in place. We have stakes for staking it down, which I'll show you in a second. Undo those two clips, and the ripstop nylon material pops down into place. We have two rafter arms here with a nice little strap to hold it in place. We open that up, and the rafter arms extend out with an expansion rod that goes in between them, clips into place, and holds it out very easily.
From there, we have some clips that go on the expansion rod to hold the wall system in place. On the corner of the unit, there is a YKK zipper for opening and accessing the room, which closes at the bottom of the wall. There is a piece of tubing inside a sleeve here that gives the wall system weight to hold it in position. At each corner, we have a tie-down friction buckle and strap with stakes to tighten it down and hold it all in place.
There's a nice mesh top for visibility, and inside, there's a pocket for all your shower needs. It's very lightweight and easy to set up, as you can tell, and it's easy to put away. Let's go ahead and put it away.
