Hi everyone, it's Paul from Equipt Expedition Outfitters here, and we have a new product we want to show everybody that I think is pretty darn cool. This is the K9 Maxtrax Rotopax 90 Degree Mount. It's very, very slick. What I have it set up for right now is a Rotopax bottle. This is a four-gallon bottle. We sell these mounts individually, one at a time. One will work really well with the square three-gallon bottles, and this one here is set up with two of them to mount a four-gallon bottle, and that option is up to you whether you buy one or two of them.
Now, the mount is designed to attach to either the Rotopax mounts or the Eezi-Awn K9 Maxtrax mounts, and the mounts will go on this guy right here. There's a plate right up in there that runs underneath the whole thing, and that's where you mount those on there. Now, the Rotopax mounts and the Maxtrax mounts are not part of the sale of these individual items; you have to buy those separately.
But what I really like about this, and I'm going to come down just a little bit so you can see this a little bit better, what I really like about this mount is that it's capable of mounting in three locations. Right now, we have it flat, and you see these little guys here, a little Eezi-Awn knob. What Eezi-Awn has developed is a three-location nutsert action here. This pair here is at a 45-degree angle, and these two here take the case up to 90 degrees. It makes it very simple.
Now also, if you look down in there, you see that T-slot down in there, and there's an X or a T-slot in the back as well. The mounts come with two eight-millimeter bolts and one six-millimeter bolt, meaning you can take this whole thing, mount it on one of the slots like we have, or you can bring it out and use the six-millimeter bolt to attach this to here and then back onto the first slot here. That way, it's getting out of the way of the rack itself.
So I'm going to grab this thing and see if I can tip it up. Now, you notice that that goes right up; in fact, it'll go way past vertical. So what we do is we put those knobs back in those nutserts to get your bottle to a vertical location. You can see around back there, there's the brackets that are on the back of it and how they're mounted down there, and your nutsert inserts with the hole that that guy goes in right there.
Now, you can also mount this at right there's about a 45-degree angle if that makes more sense for you, or you can take it clear down flat and attach it in a flat application too to keep it out of the wind if you have the room to do that on your rack system.
So yes, again, this is the Rotopax and Maxtrax 90 Degree Holder. It's a great setup for that application. If you have any questions at all, please call us or write us at equiptone.com, and we'd be more than happy to help. Thank you for your time.
