Hi everyone, it's Paul from Equipt here. I want to show you the latest that we've come out with for the Gen 2 and Gen 3 Toyota Tundra. This is our bed rail rack. It's very similar to the rack that we have for the Tacoma; in fact, it does utilize the same bed rail legs and sets up very much the same way.

What we have here is a double cab Tundra monster, and we have set up on here a 1500 millimeter wide by 1800 millimeter long platform here. So that's 59 inches wide and 1.8 meters is 71 inches long. As you can see, we've got about three inches in that space there, and we have up here about three inches of space here.

The width is pretty key. If you notice these bed rail mount legs, we've extended the rack as far as we can. If you look under here, we are maxed out right here. We've maxed out that location, but it does fit accurately, giving it a nice taper down the edge. We have this in different lengths; you could go with the double cab or Crewmax lengths or lengths shorter if you don't want the whole thing covered.

We can't go any longer on this one because we're darn close to running out of gutter to mount on. So if we went any further that way with the gutter mount legs, like a two meter, it wouldn't fit because there's not enough space here for the leg to mount to. These bed rail mounts are very nice. We have a tab on the back here that hooks onto the bed. We have a gusset under here that helps keep that load in place, and a threaded bar back here that slides in the track hardware that mounts into there.

The interesting thing we found out is on the Tacomas we use 40 millimeter bolts, and on the Tundras we use 30 millimeter bolts just because this rail is more shallow on the Tundras than the Tacomas. Interesting thing, but if you look up here, you can tell that it is a really good-sized rack. A lot of things are possible on here: hardshell tents, softshell tents, rack accessories. It's also possible if you want to put a table underneath on this rack, easily enough done. We've already done it on the Tacoma.

What I like about it is that this rack covers up the bed so that any of the stuff that you have in the bed that is of sizable nature, like Alu boxes, the fridge, or other storage containers, if you lock the tailgate, you've locked it in place. This is a nice tonneau cover, in essence, that's going to store everything in there and hold it in place on your travels. You don't have to worry about security if you have things in larger boxes that way.

But this rack turned out great. I like how it sets up. We have about six inches from here to here and just over 15 inches in here so that any of your hardshell or softshell tents, if you put them on here, will still be just below tab height. I think it's turned out wonderfully. If you have any questions, please feel free to call us, and we're happy to chat. We're at equipt1.com is our website. I appreciate your time. Thanks, guys.
