Hello everyone, I'd like to spend a minute here talking about something that we're just releasing on our website. It's something you've had for a bit, but it takes us a little bit longer to get everything out there. These are the canine load bars from Eezi-Awn. It's the same load bar system that we're using on the Toyota Tacoma, but we are using these on the 2nd and 3rd gen Toyota Tundra.
You'll notice that we have the same thing going on here. This is our bed rail leg; it ties into the channel that's on the Tacomas and Tundras right in here. It has the lip over the back there to provide extra support down on the literal bed rail. We also have our gusset here that helps support the load above it.
Some things that we have going on: from here to the top of the load bar, it's about six and a half inches up. You've got between the bottom of the load bar and the bed, about 27 inches of space below that there. From here up to the top, well, about cab high, you're looking at about 15 inches, which is really good for rooftop tents. Either a hard shell or a soft shell tent will fit on there and still keep it down about cab height, which is a really nice option.
If you want to see how this all works, take a look at the rack option that we're gonna put out here really soon, either under Tacoma or Tundra. As far as the bed rail rack goes, I really like the system. It's an extra-strong system. Our load bars are unique as they have this lip here that you drill a hole through that indent right there. You'll hold out here, put a bolt in that holds your system in there instead of the clamps that you see a lot of the other folks using. I like the bolted-down version better.
If you want to carry something on the top of it, we've got a T-slot here to bolt down options on the top, whether it's max tracks or you name it, it can be done there. But I think it's a really nice solution.
Any questions, you know where to find us at equipt1.com. We'd be happy to help. Thanks for watching.
