Escape Gear Stateside
We've partnered with Escape Gear to finally bring US vehicle seat covers (several of the most popular overlanding models) as a stocked product, which takes only a few days to ship vs the previous custom-made ordering, which took 5-6 weeks. All seat covers will also feature our Equipt logo on the screen printing and labels (accessories will vary between Escape Gear and Equipt branding), shipping is now included in the price, and you will have future representation stateside if there are any issues. …

Hi, this is Paul with Equipt Expedition Outfitters, and we have some very exciting news to share with you regarding the Escape Gear seat covers. We've been working with Escape Gear for, gads, going on 10 to 12 years now. A wonderful company, great people, and a very excellent product.
We've been able to come to an arrangement with them to bring seat covers to the United States market a little bit more expeditiously. Let me explain a few things. The seat covers are awesome, the company's awesome, and we try to do our best with them. But the one trick that we've always had is the time frame to get the seat covers here, and it's been between five and six weeks to get a set of seat covers. You order them from us, we send in the PO, they make the seat covers for us, and they send them directly to the customer.
Well, that's all well and good, but it does take a little over a month to make that happen. That's hard for people. So what we've done is partnered with them in an arrangement that the seat covers that we're bringing to the United States are now going to have the Equipt logo on them, which we're very excited about. But certain models of the seat covers we are now going to stock here in the United States, which means that instead of taking five to six weeks, it's going to take less than a week to get them in your hands. Very exciting news.
The pricing is going to be the same. It's going to look a little bit different. The pricing on our website is going to include the shipping, and it will match the pricing that Escape Gear is offering from their side of the planet if you add the shipping to their cost. So nothing has changed as far as price, but we're getting things to you a lot faster, and you have local representation on this side of the planet if you ever have a problem with your seat covers.
